75 x 225 mm Sawn Carcassing 9x3 Long Lengths C24

Crafted from high-quality softwood and strength-graded to C24 standard, our 75 x 225 mm Sawn Carcassing Timber (also known as 9x3) is the trusted choice for structural applications. Whether you're building internal frameworks or supporting major load-bearing structures, this timber delivers dependable strength and long-lasting performance.

Product Features/Specifications:

This 9x3 sawn carcassing timber features a rough-sawn finish, ideal for construction-grade use. Manufactured from slow-grown softwood and kiln-dried for stability, it meets the C24 structural grading—making it suitable for demanding building applications where higher load-bearing capacity and resilience are essential.

Detailed Product Benefits:

Our C24 sawn carcassing timber offers enhanced load performance, superior durability, and improved dimensional stability over standard C16 options. Kiln-dried to reduce moisture content, this timber resists warping and splitting—perfect for environments where strength and reliability are paramount. The higher density and fewer knots associated with C24 grading also provide greater consistency and predictability for builders and structural engineers.

Applications and Versatility:

Ideal for use in floor joists, roof rafters, lintels, and wall plates, this 9x3 timber is a go-to for structural frameworks in both residential and commercial builds. While primarily used for its strength, it can also be used in projects requiring extra depth or long spans. Its size and structural integrity make it suitable for mezzanine flooring, decking subframes, and timber framing systems. When pressure-treated, it can also be used in external environments where weather resistance is crucial.

Features & Benefits List:

  • C24 strength-graded for superior structural performance
  • Kiln-dried to reduce moisture content and minimise movement
  • Large cross-section (9x3) suitable for heavy-duty load-bearing uses
  • Made from high-quality softwood for durability and reliability
