Product Title: 50 x 100 mm PSE Redwood 4x2

Our 50 x 100 mm PSE (Planed Square Edge) Redwood 4x2 timber is a high-quality softwood ideal for a variety of interior joinery applications. Precision-planed for a smooth finish, this kiln-dried redwood timber is the go-to choice for professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts alike, offering both reliability and a refined appearance.

Product Features/Specifications:

Crafted from premium Scandinavian redwood, this timber features a smooth, planed surface with square edges and minimal knots. Kiln-dried to reduce moisture content and movement, it ensures stability and ease of use. The warm, light-toned grain makes it ideal for visible interior applications or as a solid base for paint or stain.

Detailed Product Benefits:

The PSE Redwood 4x2 is precision-machined for consistent dimensions, making it ideal for accurate, clean joints and structural integrity in joinery work. Kiln drying significantly reduces the moisture content, minimising the risk of twisting, warping, or splitting over time. Its smooth finish reduces preparation time, allowing quicker installation or finishing. Being softwood, it is also lightweight and easy to cut, shape, or drill, enhancing its suitability for various custom or decorative carpentry projects.

Applications and Versatility:

Perfectly suited for internal structural work, stud walling, furniture framing, shelving, and bespoke joinery. Its neat finish and pale, natural aesthetic make it equally ideal for exposed decorative work where a clean, contemporary look is desired. Easily paintable or stainable, it can be finished to suit both traditional and modern interiors. Suitable for use in both residential and light commercial projects.
